Willems missed the injury-hit club’s third-round FA Cup tie against Rochdale at Spotland with groin and hamstring problems.

But the on-loan defender returned in the weekend's 1-1 draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux – and is ready to play in tomorrow nights cup replay.

“We've had a tough run of injuries, and it’s always hard when you lose players, especially during a game,” said Willems. “It's been a dreadful run with so many picking up injuries, and there were more (against Wolves). That’s probably one of the reasons we have not had good results recently. The games are coming quickly now, but I’m ready to play in all of them. I feel OK, and want to play.”

On the Wolves game, Willems added: “Our shape was good – and there were good performances. I’m happy – and so’s everyone else.”
