Newcastle United fans are overjoyed to see the return of Joe Willock to Steve Bruce’s starting – but Magpies supporters are far from happy to see him line up alongside ‘skipper’ Jonjo Shelvey.
Here’s how #NUFC reacted to the team news from the King Power Stadium on Twitter.
@SimplyAlmiron – “Wilson, Saint-Maximin, Almiron and Willock all starting! Things you love to see.”
@jegnufc91 – “I know Clark hasn’t been on top form lately but to drop him for Krafth is outrageous.”
@DentonKane – “#LEINEW their team looks bit scary doesn't it...Oh well up the Toon!”
@nufckeithr – “Good to see Willock start, but wrong player loses out. If Shelvey hasn't been dropped after last week's performance, he never will be under Bruce.
@DrSquatpump – “Steve Bruce will literally play Shelvey in any position to have him in the team #NUFC
@seancavens – “Scratching my nappa again at Shelvey’s inclusion & don’t get me started on Krath being a CB.”
