Jonjo Shelvey and Mohamed Diame handed Newcastle United starts, Under-23 players on bench

Jonjo Shelvey and Mohamed Diame have been recalled to Newcastle United's starting XI at Craven Cottage.

Benitez's side take on Fulham this afternoon (3pm kick-off) in their final game of the season.

And Benitez has handed starts to midfielders Shelvey and Diame, while Kelland Watts and Lewis Cass, both 19, are on the bench.

A number of players, notably on-loan Salomon Rondon, could make their final appearances for the club, which is 14th in the Premier League.

Meanwhile, former United striker Aleksandar Mitrovic starts for Fulham.
