Ki Sung-yueng left without a club after Newcastle United exit

The midfielder left Newcastle United as a free agent last month after the club cancelled his contract on transfer deadline day.

“It was great honour and happiness of mine to play for such a great club as Newcastle United,” said Ki.

Ki had returned to his homeland to sign for FC Seoul.

However, the move is now off, leaving the 31-year-old without a club.
