Newcastle are also waiting for more clarity on Hall’s hamstring injury after he also withdrew from the England Under-21s squad.
Following the win over Forest, Eddie Howe said: “Yeah, he felt his hamstring against Union, which was a real blow for us.
“We've been trying to manage him back, as I said, on Friday, I think. Unfortunately, yeah, I just felt something in that game. We've had it scanned before we get conclusive evidence of how long he'll be out.
“He needs another re-scan in about 10 days, I think it is. So it's not going to be a short-term injury. We hope it's not going to be a long-term injury, but we sort of don't know yet.”
Livramento is set to be out until late November after suffering a knee ligament injury in the 2-1 defeat to Arsenal while Wissa is still waiting to make his Newcastle debut following his £55million deadline day move from Brentford.
Wissa suffered a knee injury while on international duty with DR Congo and has not trained with Newcastle since joining the club.
The forward was initially expected to return to action for the trip to Brighton, but that date has now been pushed back to early November.
“Yeah, he went to see a specialist again [last Thursday] just for a check-up on his knee,” Howe said. “Probably think it'll be more eight weeks than six, so maybe a slight delay, no reoccurrence, no problem, just maybe slightly longer.”
Newcastle defender Dan Burn also suffered a broken hand during the 2-0 win over Forest before joining up with the England squad for the matches against Wales and Latvia. Despite the injury, Burn has continued to train with England and was an unused substitute in the 3-0 win over Wales on Thursday night.
