Newcastle United 'agree fee' to sign fan favourite, Ancelotti lined up, and more
Newcastle United have reportedly agreed a fee to sign Jetro Willems from German side Eintracht Frankfurt.
According to the Northern Echo, an €11m fee has been agreed to bring the full-back to St James’ Park on permanent basis.
Willems has impressed this season, including with a fantastic goal for the Magpies against Liverpool in the game at Anfield.
Steve Bruce is clearly a big fan of Willems, and will be happy to add the Dutchman to the squad on a permanent basis.
Some outgoings have been tipped in the January transfer window, with forward Dwight Gayle consistently linked with a move to the Championship.
Bruce has said that it would take a big fee for Newcastle to allow Gayle to leave, though.
