Former Newcastle defender Steve Howey says his former club should be looking to spend no more than £16million to sign Joe Willock permanently from Arsenal.
The 21-year-old has impressed since joining on loan in January by scoring two goals in eight appearances, despite not starting the Magpies’ two previous games.

Hide AdIt remains to be seen whether Steve Bruce will be tempted into a permanent deal for Willock but if so, Howey has revealed how much he believes the attacking midfielder is worth.
He told Football FanCast: “I think you should be looking at something like £15-16 million.
"Yes, of course, Arsenal could easily put something in a deal so that if he does brilliantly then they would get money from any potential future sale.”
