Newcastle United consider loan 'enquiry' for exciting forward

The 18-year-old forward – who needs a work permit to play in England – is set to be loaned out for the second half of the season, and STV Sport claim that Heart of Midlothian have “made an enquiry” about taking him on loan.

Howe said last week that he wants Kuol – who went to the World Cup with Australia – to play “at a very good level”.

“It’s a possibility Garang could train with us for a little while," said United’s head coach. “But I do think that, for the player’s development, he needs to go and play. If possible, that would be at a very good level, with a good club and a good coach. That’s not a decision that’s been made currently, so we’ll have to assess what all of our options are.”
