Kept play alive by winning a header in the build-up to Newcastle's opener and then doubled his side's advantage after the break. Was targeted by Fulham down his side defensively but managed to hold on to keep a clean sheet.
6. Bruno Guimaraes - 6
Had a couple of shaky moments in dangerous areas. Struggled to stamp his authority on the game but did grab a somewhat unintentional assist for Longstaff's opener and read the game well at times to thwart Fulham attacks.

Showed good energy in midfield but not able to give Newcastle much of a foothold in possession. The game just passed him by slightly until he came into it more late on.

An clinical finish to give Newcastle the lead. Solid in the middle of the park.
