Eddie Howe made eight changes to his side for the FA Cup third round match with Alexander Isak starting his first game for the club since September as he returned from a thigh injury. Martin Dubravka also made his first appearance of the season after returning from his loan spell at Manchester United.
Both sides had chances in the opening 45 minutes but failed to take them as they went in at the break goalless.
Saw the ball nicked off him as his former side almost found a breakthrough. Had a chance to break through on goal but did nothing. Struggled to make an impact other than one decent effort from distance that forced a save from Cameron Dawson.
Had a great chance early on with a header but was denied by a good reaction save. Stopped again with an angled effort from inside the penalty area. Looked rusty as he’s getting back up to speed but still posed a sustained threat.
On for Isak 45: His flick on led to Bruno Guimaraes pulling a goal back. Was let down by a couple of wayward touches and passes and the less said about his shocking shot late on the better. Photo: Julian Finney
