Pundit Richard Keys has taken aim at Newcastle United fans AGAIN – and this time the ex-Sky Sports presenter claims punters must ‘be hating’ Steve Bruce's recent success.

Writing in his online column, Keys – now of BeIN Sports – praises the work of Bruce, after four wins in six has seen United climb seven points clear of the Premier League relegation zone.

But he can't help but poke fun at United fans – and attempt to set another rabbit off with another veiled takeover claim.

"You knew I was going to mention it - what about Brucey? Newcastle fans must be hating what he’s doing,” said Keys.

"He’s proving that not only Rafa can manage that club. He’s 10 points better off than the Toon were this stage last season - and there’s not a hint of turmoil behind the scenes.

"I had hoped one or two of you serial abusers in the North East might have the good grace to withdraw some of your vile abuse.

"No - I’m kidding. I knew you wouldn’t but I do hope the rest of your season continues as it is now.”

Finishing, he signs off: "Oh - and you never know, Santa might yet have a surprise for you."
