Exclusive:Newcastle United 2026/27 kit concept designs have already emerged as £80m new sponsor revealed
Newcastle United’s new 2026/27 shirt sponsor has been exclusively revealed by The Gazette - and concept designs of the new kit have emerged.
Newcastle United will announce a new front-of-shirt sponsor next week.
The Magpies released their 2026/27 Adidas home shirt last week without a sponsor in place. But The Gazette revealed that KNOX Hydration will be following up on the training ground sponsorship package by also becoming the club’s new front-of-shirt sponsor.
Fans who have purchased authentic versions of the kit without a sponsor will be given the opportunity to have the KNOX sponsorship printed on free of charge.
The deal comes after Newcastle’s three-year shirt partnership with Sela, understood to be worth around £70million, came to an end this summer.
The total three-year package with KNOX is understood to be worth around £80million but is supplemented by the £6million-per-season training ground sponsorship. The initial front-of-shirt deal is worth £10million in the first season, rising to £25million for the second and third.
The agreement comes during a difficult commercial market for shirt sponsorships given the current economic climate and the ban on gambling sponsors for the 2026/27 season. Many clubs have agreed cut-price deals just to ensure they have guaranteed commercial revenue for the upcoming season.
Given the circumstances, Newcastle are understood to be very satisfied and positive about their upcoming shirt sponsorship deal. But when approached by The Gazette, the club declined to comment.
Following The Gazette’s confirmation of the new shirt sponsor, we have been sent unofficial concept designs for the new shirt including the KNOX sponsor.
While these are just concept designs and not linked to anything approved by the football club, they give some idea as to how the new shirt could look.

As of July 1, Newcastle's Darsley Park training centre will be officially renamed as The KNOX. The partnership has been described as 'transformative' by the club.
