AFC Bournemouth confirmed this week that Scotland international Fraser refused to sign a short-term contract extension, which would have allowed him to play in the rest of the Cherries’ games this season.

But Fraser will instead leave on a free transfer when his current deal on the south coast ends on June 30, making him unavailable for the visit of Newcastle to the Vitality Stadium.
