Premier League football is back following the second international break of the season and Newcastle host a Palace side that sit just one place and one point below them in the table.
If the Magpies are able to avoid defeat against the Eagles, they will extend their current unbeaten run to eight games in all competitions.
However, Eddie Howe does have one or two selection headaches to contend with ahead of the game - although they pale in comparison to his opposite number.
Palace are in the middle of a major injury crisis and whilst the international period has alleviated a little bit of the stress on the medical department, they still have a fair few injury problems to deal with.
Here, we take a look at the latest injury news from both camps:

6. Joel Ward - doubt
Ward missed their draw with Nottingham Forest with a hamstring injury. There is a chance that the defender is able to make a return to action this weekend. | Getty Images

7. Michael Olise - out
Olise is yet to feature for the Eagles this season and Hodgson has confirmed he will not be able to welcome him back to the fold this weekend. A hamstring injury has kept him sidelined this campaign but he is edging closer to a return. | Getty Images

8. Jefferson Lerma - doubt
Hodgson admitted before the international period that they were unlikely to have the Colombian back in training until the latter part of the break. Lerma hasn’t featured for the Eagles since early-September, although there are hopes he may be able to return this weekend. | Getty Images
