Peter Kenyon linked with fresh takeover bid

Kenyon is involved with would-be Newcastle United buyers GACP Sports, based in Florida. His interest in the club was first revealed late last year.

However, Kenyon has also been linked with a takeover of Charlton Athletic, having been photographed at The Valley recently.

The Championship club is available for £60million, according to The Sun. An American consortium is reportedly considering a bid.
