Jamaal Lascelles is ready to lead Newcastle United in the FA Cup.
Lascelles, the club’s captain, has been sidelined since early November with a cracked tibia.
The defender – who trained in Dubai last week – is pencilled in to make his comeback for the injury-hit club in tomorrow night’s third-round replay against Rochdale.
Head coach Steve Bruce said: “We think Jamaal will be back for Tuesday.”
Winger Matt Ritchie is also set to start the tie at St James’s Park.
