Steve Bruce is set to hand youth a chance when Newcastle United head to Rochdale – but which players could be set for an opportunity?
With an injury crisis having gripped the Magpies in recent weeks, several under-23 players are set to given the chance to shine at Spotland.
Here, we take a look at who could be in contention for a role of some sorts in the third round – with NINE youngsters in the frame for a first-team call-up:
1. Owen Bailey

2. Lewis Cass
