This is Newcastle United's position on Jetro Willems after Danny Rose deal
Willems, 25, has had surgery on the season-ending knee injury he suffered earlier this month.
The left-back, signed on loan from Eintracht Frankfurt last summer, returned to his parent club after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament against Chelsea.

Hide AdAnd Newcastle were forced to sign Rose from Tottenham Hotspur after also losing Paul Dummett for the rest of the season.


Asked if the club would move for Willems in the summer, head coach Bruce said: “Jetro, we have to make sure he has had the op, and the rehabilitation is good. He impressed us all. He found it difficult to start with, but turned into a really good player for us. We’ll have a look at it.”
On 29-year-old Rose, Bruce said: “If he does well, we’ll have an opportunity to make it permanent.”
