Newcastle United take on second-placed Leicester City at St James’s Park this afternoon.

And Muto comes into the starting XI along with Javier Manquillo. Andy Carroll and DeAndre Yedlin drop down to the bench.

Muto’s last start came in the club’s 5-0 defeat to Leicester at the King Power Stadium in late September.

Newcastle are 11th in the Premier League after back-to-back losses, while the visitors are second in the table.

Asked about his vision for 2020, Bruce said: “My job since I’ve walked through the door is to try and take the club forward.”
