Proud Lynden Gooch delivers verdict on Sunderland award and the 'chaos' in the away end
Lynden Gooch's stunning winner against MK Dons has won the Sky Bet League One goal of the month.
Academy product Gooch has become a key player under Phil Parkinson and his sublime winner at Stadium MK has won the monthly gong.
With 79 minutes on the clock, Gooch produced a moment of magic, jinxing away from goal before arching a finish into the top corner to spark jubilant scenes.
Gooch said: “It is an incredibly proud moment for me. It was a great goal and a big one for the team – it’s always nice to score a goal like that. but even better when it’s one that gets you three points.
