The Northern League Division Two club have confirmed that existing season tickets holders will be offered the chance to buy half-price season tickets for the 2020/21 campaign.

The move comes after the Football Association brought a premature end to the 2019/20 Northern League season last week as the coronavirus epidemic continues to spread around the country.

But Jarrow - who were on course for a top ten finish in their third season as a Northern League club – have already turned their attentions towards next season by offering their supporters a reward for their loyalty throughout a history-making campaign.

Dave Bell’s side were set to face Tow Law Town in the first Ernest Armstrong Memorial Cup semi-final and they also ventured to the Brooks Mileson League Cup Second Round before succumbing to Division One stalwarts Shildon in a penalty shoot-out.

But real history was made in the FA Vase as Jarrow saw off Birtley Town and Newton Aycliffe to make a maiden appearance in the First Round proper – but a brave 2-1 defeat against Vauxhall Motors brought an end to their run in front of nearly 300 supporters at Perth Green.

The vocal support that Bell’s side have received over the last nine months has been a feature of the season and the Jarrow boss admitted there is “a great feel” between the supporters and the club.

“Our numbers are increasing, and we are extremely grateful for their support.

“We hope this will continue and our aim is to keep improving on the pitch and playing a type of football that people want to come and watch.

“There is a great feel between our supporters, players, officials and the management and coaching staff.

“It is brilliant to see our supporters at every game and they really do make a difference for us.”
