South Shields reveal club is in 'advanced discussions' over a deal for naming rights of Mariners Park
The club has been seeking a ground naming rights partner for several years but this search has intensified over recent months as the effects of the coronavirus pandemic have severely impacted on revenue streams.
This agreement, should it be concluded, will provide a real boost to the club during a time of such uncertainty.

"However, the decision to welcome a naming rights partner has been taken with the prosperity of the club in mind and to assist us with our ambitions of continuing to climb the football pyramid despite the many challenges which have been thrown our way so far in 2020.
"Our goal is to deliver success for our supporters and everyone connected with the club and commercial deals such as this one will give us the best possible opportunity of doing that as we aim to grow sustainably.
"We are hugely grateful for the support of the business we are in discussions with and look forward to announcing an agreement with them soon.
