I’m a Celeb star reveals ‘real voice’ and fans are stunned
Tom Read Wilson is one of the celebrities who have headed into the jungle this winter. He was a late arrival along with Vogue Williams and joined the cast a few days after the rest of the celebs.
He shot to fame as the ‘receptionist’ on Celebs Go Dating, eventually becoming a bigger part of the reality series. Now he has entered the jungle, and is faring well among the bookies odds.
During the latest episode, Tom revealed his ‘real voice’ during a discussion about how posh he makes things sound and his ‘feminine side’. Speaking to Kelly Brook, he demonstrated what his voice would sound like if he were to dial it back and speak in a more traditionally ‘masculine’ way.
The Sun reports that fans were left stunned. One wrote: “It’s hard to tell which voice is the real Tom.”
Another added: "Tom's manly voice is so good he’s got the nation confused on which ones are real.” While a confused fan said: “Wait so Tom puts that high pitch voice on.”
Tom competed on The Voice back in 2016 before joining the cast of Celebs Go Dating later that year. He was also a guest on Celebrity Juice three times from 2017 to 2022.
He was the runner-up on Celebrity Best Home Cook in 2021. Tom has also appeared on shows like Richard Osman’s House of Games, Tipping Point: Lucky Stars.
See who is the favourite for I’m a Celebrity this season. Plus ITV is reportedly set to axe The Fortune Hotel.
