Weekly life drawing, oil painting and portraiture classes launched at Customs House
Art classes open to all abilities led by professional artist Rory Williams will run at The Customs House.
A series of weekly art classes at The Customs House are set to begin from today.
From Tuesday, September 15, to Tuesday, December 15, three weekly art classes open to all abilities will run.
The classes are each led by professional artist Rory Williams.
The first is a life drawing class with sessions between 10:30am to 12:30pm.
Each session costs £10 and people are welcome to attend for the full two hours or simply drop in, but booking through the Customs House website is essential.
These sessions are also only open to people aged 18 and over.
On Tuesday afternoons, between 1:30pm and 3:30pm, there will be a Portrait for Beginners class where attendees will “explore the various stages of portraiture” for £15 per session.
Then in the evening, between 6pm and 8pm, an oil painting class will be held, priced at £20.
While materials are provided those in attendance are able to bring any additional supplies they would like.
