Liam Gallagher proves why he's a rock n roll star: Review of Utilita Arena show
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
Liam treated a capacity crowd to six tracks off his exceptional Why Me? Why Not second solo album - or as was beautifully tweeted by @liamgallagher before the gig at Newcastle's Utilita Arena...."Why eye me why eye not".
Liam performed a perfect blend of Oasis tunes and his solo tracks – the only one missing for me was the song he wrote for his daughter, Molly. I event tweeted asking if he could treat his North East fans to the amazing Now That I've Found You. Well, it was worth a try.

Hide AdPaul Gascoigne got a mention with Liam dedicating Roll With It to ‘Gazza’.
Favourites on the 20-strong set-list for me were Gas Panic, Halo, Acquiesce and The River along with his final track of the night, as the second encore, which was another Oasis crowd-pleasing classic, Cigarettes and Alcohol.
His gigs just get better and better. Always left wanting more.
