Jarrow Hall thanks visitors for support after 'difficult year' as it reopens and hopes for a positive end to 2020.
Jarrow Hall Anglo-Saxon Farm and Village will be reopening in the weekends before Christmas, starting this Saturday December 5, and has thanked visitors for their support in what has been a challenging year for the site.
The site is looking forward to a positive end to 2020, a year which has seen it been forced to close twice and be victims of a vandal attack which caused “significant damage”.

Rebecca Maw, operations manager – communities with Groundwork South & North Tyneside, which operates the site, said: “We are delighted to be able to reopen the outdoor parts of Jarrow Hall for the weekends up to Christmas before we close for our usual winter break.
“The support we have received from visitors in this difficult year has been amazing and we are pleased we have been able to provide a place of calm for everyone who has joined us.”
Following the lead up to Christmas the site will then close for its usual winter break before reopening again in the spring.
