LV Shipping, which already occupies a 15,000 sq ft unit on the site, has now taken over the neighbouring 10,000 sq ft Unit 19. The move increases its total footprint at Monkton Business Park to 25,000 sq ft, signalling the company’s long-term commitment to the region.
Founded more than a century ago, LV Shipping operates across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas. Its UK headquarters in Middlesbrough oversee a wide range of freight forwarding, logistics and warehousing services. The expansion in Hebburn will allow the company to handle new contracts, increase storage capacity and improve operational efficiency for customers.

Managing director Lee Woolams said the company acted quickly once the opportunity emerged.
“Once we learned about the opportunity at Monkton Business Park, we moved quickly. The Newcastle team love their current base and the timing worked well as they continue to grow. The strong relationships between both parties have helped deliver a smooth and efficient transition.”
Infinity Park is owned and managed by Hellens Group, whose chief executive Gavin Cordwell-Smith welcomed the expansion.
“It is fantastic to see LV Shipping increase their presence at Infinity Park. Our development was designed to provide modern, flexible space for ambitious companies, and LV Shipping’s expansion demonstrates the strength of demand for quality industrial accommodation in this part of the North East. We are proud to support their growth.”
Located close to the A19 and Tyne Tunnel, Monkton Business Park offers strong road links to Teesside, Tyneside and the wider national network. It is home to major occupiers including Siemens, Ford Component Manufacturing and Kier.
The additional space comes as demand for modern logistics and industrial facilities continues to rise across the North East, driven by the region’s growing role in advanced manufacturing, offshore energy and global trade. Infinity Park has been central to meeting this demand, supported by ongoing investment from Hellens Group.
