South Tyneside's Seaside Market returns this weekend
The popular South Shields market will only be trading a few more times this year.
South Tynesiders who fancy a bit of shopping and sea air can combine them by popping along to the Seaside Market which returns this weekend.
You can browse and discover handmade crafts, local makers, tasty treats and unique gifts while enjoying all the usual sights and sounds of the beach of South Shields.
The market will be open for business on Sunday, September 20 from 10am until 3pm.
The weather is expected to be mild and dry, but just in case the market will be set up in the covered walkway next to the Amphitheatre beside Sandhaven Beach.
South Tyneside Council says: “Whether you’re browsing, buying local or just soaking up the atmosphere, it’s a perfect reason to pop along and support our brilliant local traders.”
The Seaside Market will also be set up on the Sundays of October 4 and October 18, also from 10am until 3pm.
