Deliveroo launches in South Shields - All the restaurants you can order from and how to get 20% off

Radhuni and Frydays are among the South Shields favourites that customers will be able to order from via Deliveroo as the service launches in the town this week.

Fast food lovers will also be able to have the likes of Nando’s and Subway delivered to their homes through the online service, as well as food from convenience stores such as Co-op.

To mark the launch of Deliveroo in South Shields, customers will be able to get 20% of orders for the next four weeks with the code SOUTHSHIELDS10.**

Harrison Foster, Deliveroo regional director in the UK, said: "Launching in North and South Shields is a key milestone for Deliveroo.

"South Shields has a thriving foodie community and a wide range of restaurants and retailers, so we’re excited to connect them.

The food delivery company will continue to add new local restaurants, takeaways and convenience stores to the platform over the coming months, with the likes of Costa Coffee joining Deliveroo as lockdown eases.

Deliveroo is also looking to hire up to 50 people to become riders in the South Shields area.

Those who work as riders will be able to work when they want and where they want, delivering food and groceries to customers’ doors.

Customers have the option to schedule orders via the Deliveroo app up to one day in advance or receive food as soon as possible between 11.30am and 11pm on weekdays and 11.30am and 11pm on weekends.
