Denmark Centre latest: Man due in court after break-in at Cardstation in South Shields shopping centre

A man is due to appear in court before magistrates charged with burglary after a suspected break-in at a store in South Shields’ Denmark Centre in April.

Neil McKay, 50, from Cloverhill, Jarrow, will appear at South Tyneside Magistrates Court on Monday, June 28, 2021, charged with burglary, Northumbria Police have confirmed.

It follows an investigation by police officers into a suspected break-in at the Cardstation store, which is inside the Denmark Centre indoor shopping arcade, on Thursday, April 22, 2021.
