Possessing amphetamine, stealing toys and drink driving: Sunderland and South Tyneside defendants who appeared in court

Clinton Ruddy, 36, of General Havelock Road, Sunderland, was given a six-month conditional discharge after he admitted possession of amphetamine. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and a surcharge of £32.

Adam Gray, 25, of Chichester Road, South Shields, admitted breaching a community order and was told to carry out 20 hours of unpaid work and pay £60 costs.

Natasha Waddle, 28, of Bristol Avenue, Sunderland, admitted stealing toys valued at £284.90 from the Post Office in Stockton Road. She was fined £80 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £32 surcharge.

Nathan Harry Egglestone, 20, of Kipling Avenue, West Boldon, was given a six-month conditional discharge after admitting being drunk and disorderly. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £21 surcharge.

Liam Joseph James Humes, 31, of Wigeon Close, Washington, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol. He was fined £276 and banned from driving for three years. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £32 surcharge.

Adam Young, 20, of Stockley Road, Barmston, Washington, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol, without a licence, without insurance and breaching a suspended sentence order. He was fined £120 and banned from driving for 17 months. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £32 surcharge.Dale Jeremy Jonathan James Elliott, 27, of Osbourne Avenue, South Shields, admitted breaching a suspended sentence order. He was given a rehabilitation order.
