"We were delighted to welcome the passengers and crew and look forward to their next visit. "The ship left at around 5pm today, with Scotland next on its itinerary.

It arrived at around 5.30am.The port of Tyne is due to host a record 40 cruises this summer with 50 already booked for 2017.
