Dogs Trust currently has so many gorgeous pups up for adoption across the North and North East.
Darlington, Cumbria and Leeds rehoming centres are hoping to find lovely homes for their dogs in order to give them the best possible lives.
Here are just 11 of the dogs searching for a forever home for 2024.

5. Alfie (English Springer Spaniel, two-five years)
Alfie is fabulous, active lad who is eager to carry on his training with his family. He's always on the go and would like his new owners to be able to keep up with him and also provide mental enrichment to keep his mind active and happy too. Alfie is really into his toys and incorporating these into some fun games will be a great way to spend the days. He's come on leaps and bounds with his training and shown that he is a star pupil with his positive reward based training. For someone who can give Alfie the time he first needs to settle in and find his paws, will soon see how amazing this boy really is! | Dogs Trust Photo: Dogs Trust Darlington

6. Lola (Beagle Cross, one-two years)
Lola can be nervous when she initially meets you, having spent her first year in her home with the people she knows, she is very bonded and attached to her pawrent, so we expect her to take sometime to adjust when she makes the move from her current home to forever home. Lola would like to be the only pet in the home. She loves playing toys and when settled is easily won over with food for training. | Dogs Trust Photo: Dogs Trust Cumbria

7. Bruno (Crossbreed, six months)
Bruno is a 6-month-old Crossbreed who needs patient adopters who will help him slowly build confidence with the world and continue all his basic training. So that he can settle properly he needs a calm, adult only home (although older teens may be considered) with a secure garden to practice his housetraining. He could potentially share his home with another dog pending them getting on well. He will need someone around all the time initially and our team will advise the best way of slowly building up any alone time. | Dogs Trust Photo: Dogs Trust Leeds

8. Prince (Border Collie Cross, three years)
Prince is an affectionate, fun boy who loves playing with his toys. He has the personality of a Collie, wearing a Staffordshire Bull Terrier tracksuit. He is one smart cookie and would love owners who are keen to keep his mind stimulated by learning new tricks. He does like meeting dogs but will need to be the only dog in the home for now to aid his recovery and to settle into a new home. Prince is loving life in a foster home so if you feel he is the dog for you, apply now! | Dogs Trust Photo: Dogs Trust Leeds
