There are so many puppies in search of their forever home this week across the North and North East.
Darlington, Cumbria and Leeds rehoming centres are hoping to find lovely homes for their dogs in order to give them the best possible lives.
Here are just 13 of the dogs searching for a forever home this January.

9. Nova (Bull Terrier, two-five years)
If your looking an English Bull terrier then Nova is not going to disappoint. A true gem of the breed, she's looking to become someone's precious companion for life. Nova is just two years old, we do not know her history, however she has taken to foster life with ease. She can be a little unsure of new people, However we feel she will bond quickly and become more confident when meeting people. She loves to have a head scratch and belly rub, she enjoys walks and cuddles. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust

10. Oscar (Border Collie Cross, six years)
Oscar is already proving to be a popular boy with his handlers! He's a smart lad who gets a lot out of his training. Being very foody means that continuing this will be super easy and lots of fun. He really enjoys a good run and gets quite playful once he's formed a good relationship with you. He'll need a little time to fully bond, but once he's settled he's an affectionate lad with a lot to give. | Dogs Trust Photo: Dogs Trust

11. Dexter (German Shepherd, one-two years)
Dexter would love for his family to be into their dog training as much as he is. He’s a big fan of his food which will be a great reward. Food games to keep his mind active too will be a fun way to entertain him. His training will be on going in the home but we are sure with some guidance and time dedicated to him, he’s going to make a fantastic pupil to work with! | Dogs Trust

12. Domino (Lurcher cross, over eight years)
Domino has absolutely stolen the hearts of all his handlers here at the centre! With his friends he lots of fun, very playful and is getting more and more affectionate too! He's got a super smart brain too and loves doing his training. Being very foody means doing more fun training with him will be a doddle as he gets so much out of it. He loves his walkies in quieter areas where he won't see other dogs and he travels well so won't mind being driven to more peaceful walking spots. Domino is doing really well with all his training, and has even been working on his doggy socialisation, so we know that in the right home he will thrive. He just needs someone to give him the chance he deserves. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust
