There are so many gorgeous dogs in search of their forever home this week across the North and North East.
Darlington, Cumbria and Leeds rehoming centres are hoping to find lovely homes for their dogs in order to give them the best possible lives.
Here are just 19 of the dogs searching for a forever home.

5. Soldier (Staffordshire Bull Terrier, two-five years)
This gorgeous lad will appeal to fans of the breed. He's super affectionate and just loves spending time with you! Whether that be having a game of fetch, exploring out on walks or just snuggling down on the sofa together. He's going to be a joy to work with and welcome into the family. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Darlington

6. Edith (Jack Russell Cross, one year)
Edith is a sweet and shy 1 year old Terrier crossbreed. She came to us as a stray, so we have no previous history on her. Edith is looking for a quiet and calm home as she is nervous of unfamiliar people and doesn’t like loud noises. Young children would be too much for her, but she would be fine with sensible high school aged children. Edith is easily spooked, even by her own reflection, so she needs walks in quieter areas without too much passing traffic. Edith isn’t used to being left, so will need her adopters to be around most of the time until she is fully settled. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Leeds

7. Nutkin (Lurcher Cross, one year)
Nutkin is a sweet girl who was found recently as a stray. We believe her to be around 1yr old. She's quite shy but does come round with a little space and time to get to know you properly. In order for her to properly settle and pick up a new routine she will need a calm, adult only home. She can be shy around dogs at the moment, so would need to be the only dog but could have walking friends she can build confidence with. She needs to learn her housetraining so a secure garden will be needed. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Leeds

8. Blue (French Bulldog, two years)
Blue is a lovely two years old French Bulldog who has come into us through no fault of his own. He will need an adult only home. Blue loves going out on his walks to explore. He is worried by other dogs so will need to wear his muzzle on a walk and walked in quiet dog areas. When at home he will quite happily have a fuss and will quite often be found snuggled up next to you on the sofa. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Leeds
