EasyJet start Big Seat Release sale including cheap summer 2027 flights from Newcastle Airport
EasyJet has launched a huge sale offering cheap flights from Newcastle Airport.
Budget airline EasyJet has kicked off one of its major annual sales - the first of its kind since the company opened a base at Newcastle Airport.
Opened in March, Easyjet claimed the three-aircraft base will support around 1,200 jobs including 140 direct jobs for pilots and cabin crew and is its11th base in the UK.
At the end of July the brand got its huge Big Seat Release underway, allowing travellers the chance to book nearly 14 million seats across over 78,000 flights between Wednesday, June 14 2027 and Sunday, September 26 2027.
Tickets from Newcastle airport start at £41.48 to Spanish destinations Malaga and Alicante while North East residents can head to Nice in outhern France from £30.98.
Seats from other UK airports start from £22.99.
The announcement of EasyJet’s new hub in the North East was part of Newcastle International Airport claiming 2026 will be its busiest summer ever with over 1.4 million passangers travelling through its terminal over the warmest months of the year.
Kevin Doyle, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, said: "Whether customers are dreaming of a beach holiday in the Mediterranean, a city break with friends or a family getaway during the school holidays, our Big Seat Release for next summer gives them the chance to get ahead and start planning."
A total of 140 destinations are available as part of the seat release sale, with deals available to check through the EasyJet website. Package holidays are also available through EasyJet Holidays.
