So if Father Chris Fuller, of St Hilda's, condones camel parades (January 28) it doesn't automatically make it right.

Have to say, I’m with the animal rights activists on this one as the use of animals in parades has no place in a modern society.

The camel is not native to this country and likely to be caused stress in a lively atmosphere not to mention the cold.

There again if our councillors let wild Exmoor ponies loose on Cleadon Hills to save money, then why should Father Fuller be bothered?
