Jarrow Roofing boss expects tough contest at Consett

Neither side has been consistent of late and both find themselves towards the foot of the league’s form table. Standing at eighth place in the division, Consett would seem to be the favourites heading into the fixture but the home side have only won three of their last seven fixtures, losing the other four.
Roofing, meanwhile, have not fared much better with only one victory in their last six outings, though this was a convincing 4-0 drubbing away at Newton Aycliffe.
And boss Richie McLoughlin is expecting a tough match.

Consett’s home form has been commendable so far this campaign, though the Roofers may sense that they can get a result from a side that has not performed too well of late.
But when quizzed on his opponent’s recent form, Roofing supremo McLoughlin had a word of warning for his side heading into the clash.
“I don’t look at the form table to be honest,” he said. “It’s hard to tell in this league and anybody can beat anybody on their day.”
