Low rail adhesion causes problems on Metro
Commuters are facing problem on the Metro this morning due to 'low rail adhesion'.
A frequent services is operating across the Tyne and Wear Metro but trains are not running to timetable.
A spokesman for the service said: "We are currently operating a frequent service not to timetable system wide due to low rail adhesion.
"Metro apologise for the disruption to your journey."
