Metro delays between South Shields and Newcastle after train fails
Metro services between South Shields and Newcastle have resumed but are subject to delays
Bosses say a failed train has meant delays of up to 15 minutes to services between South Shields and South Gosforth.
Services were suspended entirely for a short period.
