Reports earlier this summer suggested that several Premier League clubs were keen on Porto winger Yacine Brahimi after he impressed for the Portuguese side last season.
The Algerian netted ten times last season as Porto romped to the Portuguese league title, and also played a key role as they advanced to the quarter-final stage of the Champions League.
Such impressive form naturally attracted interest, with Newcastle, Everton and Wolves all said to be keen on the former Granada star.
But Brahimi has moved to clarify the situation, insisting he is happy at the Estadio Dragao with a year still remaining on his current deal.
Speaking to Mais Futebol, Brahimi said: “I am part of the club, I have a contract, and I believe that for FC Porto it is of great happiness that Conceicao (Porto's Head Coach) has renewed his contract.”
When specifically asked whether he would be remaining at Porto next season, he added: “As I said, I have another year of contract.”
