Newcastle United news: Big deal for Dummett, Perez tracked by Barcelona
Paul Dummett is ready to commit his future to Newcastle United.
The Gazette today revealed that the defender will sign a new contract at the club before he heads to Euro 2016 with Wales.
Another player in the news is Ayoze Perez, who has been linked with a move to Barcelona.
Here's what Perez had to say to the Gazette in late 2014 about interest from Barcelona and Real Madrid in him BEFORE he joined Newcastle.
Dummett and Perez are preparing for relegation-threatened United's game against Aston Villa at Villa Park on Saturday.
And Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez is set to get an injury boost ahead of the must-win fixture.
Meanwhile, midfielder Moussa Sissoko has opened up about the responsibility of captaining the club, which is 17th in the Premier League and a point ahead of Sunderland.
