Newcastle's Aleksandar Mitrovic DROPPED against Everton, Andros Townsend starts

Andros Townsend will make his Newcastle United debut at Goodison Park tonight.

The winger, signed for Â£12million from Tottenham Hotspur last week, has been handed a start against Everton (7.45pm kick-off).

New signing Seydou Doumbia is on the bench along with Aleksandar Mitrovic, who has been dropped by United head coach Steve McClaren.

Relegation-threatened Newcastle are 18th in the Premier League and two points adrift of safety.
