Newcastle's Florian Thauvin 'struggling' ahead of Man United clash
Florian Thauvin's doubtful for Manchester United's visit to St James's Park.
The Newcastle United winger is "struggling" with an injury he picked up in the weekend's FA Cup loss to Watford.
Thauvin had been the subject of an angry chant from frustrated fans after coming off the bench in the 1-0 defeat at Vicarage Road.
Captain Fabricio Coloccini – who has a leg injury – will be given a late fitness test, while Jack Colback (hamstring) is back in training after missing the Watford tie.
Defender Kevin Mbabu is also doubtful for the Man United match.
