Giant cat hedge confounds canines in North East street

The impressive piece of topiary was created by an apparently green-fingered cat lover in North Shields.

But while fellow feline lovers may be impressed with the hedge, it is said to have had a cat-astrophic impact on passing hounds, leaving them barking mad.
