Little Mix's Perrie Edwards joins footballer boyfriend in becoming Supreme Nutrition ambassador
South Shields singer Perrie Edwards has become the first female ambassador for the nutrition brand that her footballer boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain works with.
Supreme Nutrition x Perrie Edwards was announced on Tuesday, February 11 as the brand took to Instagram saying: “We are proud to launch our first female ambassador @perrieedwards.”
The brand sells a variety of protein, energy and wellness formulas alongside fitness clothing, shakers and bottles.
She has previously had links to fitness with Little Mix’s USA Pro gym-wear collection.
In a video shared on social media, the ex St. Peter and Paul RC Primary School pupil wears and uses Supreme Nutrition products on tour and at home.
As a caption on her Instagram post, the star who grew up in Whiteleas said: “I’m so excited to announce this! I’m officially joining @supremenutrition @alexoxchamberlain has had this stuff knocking about the house for quite a long time now! I started using it as a snack and for recipes and OMG I’m obsessed with the taste.
“I’m so happy to represent us ladies at Supreme Nutrition and I know you’ll all love the new wellness range.”
Perrie’s boyfriend, Liverpool FC professional footballer, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, became an ambassador in May 2019 and claims to use the products to get the most out of his training.
The other ambassadors are Ross Mackay, the CEO and co-founder at Daring Foods and Lead Personal Trainer Alex Parsons.
In a statement on the brands website, Perrie says: “The products have always been around the house since Alex uses them a lot! In the end I thought, why not try it. He was always going on about how they taste so good. So I gave the Diet Whey Strawberries and Cream a go and I’ve been obsessed ever since!
“Now I have my own cupboard for them instead of stealing his shakes.”
The Little Mix star now has her own collection – the ‘Perrie Bundle’ consisting of her “favourite products” Strawberries and Cream flavoured Diet Whey, Supreme Total Greens and Supreme Collagen on sale for £82.
The products are also available separately in 400g pots for between £21 and £30.
