When South Shields fair will reopen after lockdown as restrictions are eased

The popular fair on Sea Road, South Shields, plans to reopen on Monday, April 12, subject to the Government’s road map out of lockdown going to plan.
The attraction will welcome back families and visitors from 11am to 8pm each day, weather permitting.

Hide AdFrom April 12, groups of up to six people or those from two households will be able to meet outdoors as the restrictions are eased.
A new contactless Fun Card will replace the former ticket and token system, which can be bought in advance online.
Every ride uses a certain number of ‘credits’ per person, per ride, with the number of credits required clearly signposted at each attraction.

Hide AdHand sanitising facilities have been installed across the park and enhanced deep-cleaning measures will be in place on all the rides and attractions.
Visitors can also expect social distancing measures to be in place while customers are queuing for rides, with one-way systems introduced on some walk-ways.

: Non-essential shops, hairdressers, nail salons and personal care services will reopen.
