South Shields comedian Chris Ramsey hosts three Christmas gatherings
Chris Ramsey has hosted three alternative Christmas gatherings.
South Shields comedian Chris Ramsey has teamed up with Sainsbury’s and Channel 4 to host three different Christmas gatherings.
In the first instalment of the three-part short series, Chris teaches viewers how to host a “proper” Christmas do by throwing a part for shopping centre Santas.
Chris then steps into the kitchen for the second instalment as he hosts a festive feast for a pantomime cast.
The final episode sees Chris step into the kitchen for the last time to host a Boxing Day bash for a group of seniors who truly know how to relax at Christmas.
The whole series aims to give members of the public inspiration for their Christmas cooking this festive season, with all the products used available at Sainsbury’s.
During the introduction to the gatherings, Chris states: “Every year I see those picture-perfect Christmas TV shows.
“You know the ones with the over-the-top fancy idea of what Christmas should be like.
“But it got me thinking... ‘What if I did that?’”
“What if a normal bloke tried to tackle Christmas?”
