Zeera Cuisine in Ocean Road, South Shields, has chosen Hebburn Helps to be this year’s fundraising beneficiary.
Throughout November, for every main meal purchased they will make a donation to the cause.

The money will go towards helping to provide Christmas lunches for families in need living within South Tyneside.

Shahanoor Choudhury, director of Zeera Cuisine said: “We are happy to give something back to our community. Hebburn Helps is a fantastic charity that brings a bit of joy into the lives of those less fortunate.

“We know our loyal customers will be only too happy that when they dine someone in need will benefit.”

Last year Zeera launched its Indian Christmas Dinner special helping to raise much needed charity funds. This year they hope to boost their charity efforts.

Angie Comerford who founded Hebburn Helps with friend Jo Durkin said: “It’s amazing what Zeera is doing for Hebburn Helps, as every donation does help us immensely. We have had such fantastic support from everyone, we honestly can’t thank everyone enough and Zeera for what they are doing. It is so appreciated.”
