South Tyneside acts set for two-night Hebburn music festival
A festival with ten local bands performing will take place this weekend in Hebburn.
While some of the world’s biggest stars will be heading to Sunderland this weekend for Radio One’s Big Weekend, a Hebburn bar is preparing for a weekend festival of its own.

This weekend Hebburn Sports Club’s bar The Sportsy will host ten live acts over the course of two evenings.

Taking place from 3pm until 10pm on both Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24, the weekend gives local bands the chance to play to a big crowd while also supporting the sports club at the end of the football season.
Day tickets are available for £15 while two day tickets can be picked up for £25. These are only available from the venue which can be accessed on South Drive in Hebburn.
The first night of the event will be closed out by C Collective while South Shields band The Good Souls will bring the full two days of music to an end on Sunday.
